SNAPSHOT Hired to increase visibility, communication, and board engagement with the local Atlanta community and surrounding areas; introduced initiatives for the organization’s first social media, email communication, and website strategies
RESULTS:
Digital Marketing: Developed the first-ever marketing plan that included digital platforms and weekly social media content for six communication channels.
E-Mail Marketing and Newsletter Design: Upgraded the email marketing channel, increased engagement, and expanded email interactions with the neighborhood by 60%.
Digital Community Engagement: Served as Web Content Manager and collaborated with the community and board members to plan, organize, create and publish new content; increased KPIs (likes, clicks, shares, and comments) by 20%.
- Established a community feature, “My Neighborhood,” highlighting Piedmont Heights residents.
- Developed and designed the Piedmont Heights Parents Association website to provide information about schools, events, camps, and education in the Piedmont Heights area.
- Increased unique new visitors, like millennial parents, to the website and the PHCA website by 40%.
Public Relations: Collaborated with Communications Chairs from surrounding neighborhoods to co-host and organize a townhall style “Neighborhood Forum” that introduced residents to local politicians in the Atlanta area. - Efforts increased community engagement on social media platforms, websites, and groups by more than 60%.
